Maple Grove Town Green: Sounds of Summer

Our only JULY SHOW and we are hoping it'll be a BIG ONE! Start your week off right with a free concert in the park by Blue Groove Bluegrass! Family friendly show- your dog or cat can come too, but must be on a leash.

Where do I park to access the Town Green? There is free parking available on Main Street, in the upper level of the Library ramp, at the Community Center lots and most evenings at the Government Center. Town Green Parking Map.

Are there picnic tables and chairs available at the Town Green? For performances, you might want to bring a lawn chair or blanket. There is also a terraced wall seating 300 in the Bandshell area. There are Adirondack chairs on the point to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. This site is fully handicapped accessible. Cafe tables and chairs are available for your use whenever the Town Green is open.

Is there food or beverages available at the Town Green or can I bring my own? There will be concessions for sale during performance times. Concession items include: popcorn, pop, nachos, hot pretzels, candy, ice cream, coffee & more...You are welcome to bring in a picnic, cooler or takeout containers. Sorry, no grills are allowed or available on site. The Town Green is walking distance to many restaurants including ice cream and coffee shops. No alcohol or smoking is allowed on site.

Normandale Lake Bandshell Evening Performance Series

Blue Groove Bluegrass performs authentic bluegrass music with a contemporary twist by some of the most talented bluegrass artists in the region.

The sounds of summer echo throughout the Normandale Lake Bandshell with some of the Twin Cities best performers. All shows begin at 7 p.m. and are free to the public. You can check the status of Arts in the Parks events during inclement weather by calling 952-563-8878

This festival is really an entire week of musical fun at El Rancho Mañana near Richmond MN. Bluegrass, Old-Time Stringband, and related forms of acoustic and Americana music are combined to suit a wide range of interests. You'll enjoy hearing something familiar and discovering something new! Pre-festival instructional camps will be followed by four days of bluegrass and old-time bliss. Brooklyn Park Historic Eidem Homestead Concert

Blue Groove Bluegrass is a multi-award winning bluegrass band that covers a number of past and current contemporary bluegrass artists, and presents a few orginals as well.
