Visit Badger Hill Taproom in Shakopee any Sunday afternoon for bluegrass music and the best brews around town. Blue Groove will be your hosts. Here are some FAQs: Can I bring my dog? Dogs are allowed on our patio. Unfortunately, they cannot be in the taproom. What type of food do you have? We have Heggies pizza and an ever changing list of snacks available. During the warmer months, we have food trucks on weekends. And you're always allowed to bring in whatever food you'd like! Do you have TVs? Will you play the big game? Yes! And yes! If a game you want to watch isn't on the TV, just ask a beertender to change it for you. Do you have non-alcoholic options? Yes! We have root beer and other n/a options available for our non beer drinking patrons.

  • Blue Groove stage times and participation yet to be determined- You will always be able to find us camping and jamming at Old Wash Machine Hill or on the open stage at Ranch House live. The Minnesota Bluegrass August Festival is held annually at El Rancho Mañana Campground the Thursday-Sunday surrounding the second Saturday of August. This festival features top national touring acts as well as the best bands from the Upper Midwest region in four days and nights of music on multiple stages, plus workshops, showcases, and much, much more!

This festival is really an entire week of musical fun at El Rancho Mañana near Richmond MN. Bluegrass, Old-Time Stringband, and related forms of acoustic and Americana music are combined to suit a wide range of interests. You'll enjoy hearing something familiar and discovering something new! Pre-festival instructional camps will be followed by four days of bluegrass and old-time bliss.
