Art in Motion on the Lake Wobegon trail is dedicated to fostering and inspiring healthy lifestyles through creativity, community, and connection to nature. Art in Motion builds unity and appreciation for Art and each other, by hosting: rotating gallery exhibits, weekly music performances, an open art studio, community events, a space friendly to families and folks of all ages, and the bike community. Boho Cafe nourishes this pursuit.
The artist, the appreciator, and the traveling soul are all welcome here.

Blue Groove kicks off this free family event in downtown Wayzata. Bring a chair and enjoy a rockin bluegrass concert from Blue Groove! Concerts each week from various artists each Sunday in September. Plan to bring a chair, kids and even a picnic to the concerts on the Great Lawn on East Lake Street near The Landings Hotel.
Washington County Bluegrass Festival

The annual Washington County Bluegrass Festival fuses community, the great outdoors, and homegrown bluegrass music. It’s our way of celebrating a successful summer season and giving thanks to everyone for supporting Washington County Parks.
The festival backdrop is beautiful Lake Elmo Park Reserve, a 2,165-acre parkland, 30 miles east of the Twin Cities metro area. As a park reserve, 80% of the parks total land will be restored to pre-settlement, native vegetation. It’s a great place to recreate, camp, and enjoy nature.
The Bluegrass Festival is FREE for annual park permit holders and available to all visitors for the price of a daily or annual permit. Please no animals or alcohol at the festival. These free, open-air concerts are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at the Shoreview Commons next to the Shoreview Community Center. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Dogs are welcome at the concert series on the condition they are well-mannered, leashed, and waste is to be picked up.

Please refer to festival website for any changes The 15th Annual Lakes Bluegrass Festival will be held near Pine River at the new site named Lakes Area Music & Event Park, just 1/2 mile north of Pine River on State Highway 371. The event features award winning nationally known and regional bluegrass bands. The Lakes Bluegrass Festival that has gained state and regional acceptance. Rough RV and tent camping will be available. Electrical hook-up sites are available. Camping opens August 25.
